What has more recoil, a 6.8 x 43 remington SPC, or the russian 7.62 x 39 mm?

im aware the SPC has more energy, but does this nessecarily mean more recoil?

  1. The SPC has more recoil in its normal loading than the Russian 7.62x39mm in its normal loadings. The SPC has a recoil impulse of 1.84 lbs/sec and a free recoil energy of 5.45 ft/lbs. The 7.62mm Russian has a recoil impulse of 1.69 lbs/sec and a free recoil energy of 4.62 ft/ lbs. All of these numbers assume the round is fired from a rifle weighing ten pounds.


  2. no it does not, with a propper compensator any weapon can have just about no recoil at all
