Wealth, lower crime, better schools, better NHS, strong economy, businesses that can compete in a global market, Freedom of Information, minimum wage, etc, etc. Labour weren't voted in 3 successive times out of sympathy! Most people are better off now and have a better life than ever before. There will always be LOSERS in society, but instead of blaming the Government and everybody else, you should accept responsibility for your own life!

They have given the Bank of England the right to set interest rates to combat inflation. That was taken out of the governments responsibility. In the past government set interest rates to suit themselves. Since that decision we've all had low inflation, not like the inflation we used to have from a succession of previous governments of either Labour or Conservative.

What has New Labour brought to the UK, a lot, none of it good!!!! Higher Taxes, sponging Immigrants, devolved a lot of power to europe, which I might add people spent 6 years in the 1940's fighting against, destroyed cohesive society, destroyed the NHS, destroyed the education system (apparently we've never had so many illiterate children since the late 1800's!), wasted the economy (a problem I believe they've been sitting on and kept quiet about since long before the 'credit crunch' broke) and dragged us into an illegal war which then made us a terrorist target. They've just done so many bad things in the past 11 years, even I'm having trouble remembering them all, and I'm good at history! Oh yeah, their first thing, the millennium dome which they spent millions on for it to be a huge flop, ok it's now the O2 Arena, but that was never planned!! Still, hopefully it's not too late to turn it all around, and hopefully now people realise that liberal socialism doesn't really work.

They have stopped the conflict in Northern Ireland, bought unemployment down to a respectable level, stabilised inflation, boosted the economy and made a lot more jobs.

The downside is that we have a surveillance society, more petty regulations and laws and given away democracy to the EU with the Lisbon treaty. You pays yer money and yer takes yer choice. If the Tories get in it will be much much worse, remember what they were like?
