What has the bigger turning radii,skis or snow boards?why?

uh... that would depend on the size of the board/skis... usually skis are bigger so i guess skis.

if you want to know which one will turn faster that would be skis for the reason that the have two edges they can put into the snow where as snowboards have only 1.

Ski generally have a longer turning radius, basically due to the fact that they are longer.  As skis get shorter, you can find that the turning radius starts to get smaller.    Your turning radius is based off of the sidecut and length of your board/skis.  Longer turning radius, big mountain ripping, shorter turn radius, tree skiing and carving...  There is an entire physics discussion that is buried in this topic!

Both skis and snowboards are available in a wide variety of lengths and sidecuts.  Generally, snowboards have a tighter turn radius because of shorter lengths, but there are a lot of exceptions.
