  1. The minimum legal driving age is 15 years of age, when a person can get a Learner's License.


  2. For a learners license the minimum age is 15.

    For a Restricted license - you need to have had your learners for at least 6 months, and take a practical driving test.

    For a Full license

    - you need to have had your learners for at least 18 months if you're under 25 years old,

    - or you need to have had your learners for at least 12 months if you're under 25 years old and have completed an approved advanced driving skills course. (Note: you must have held your restricted licence for at least six months before completing this course)

    - you need to have had your learners for at least six months if you're 25 or older

    - you need to have had your learners for at least three months if you're 25 or older and have completed an approved advanced driving skills course.
