  1. we actually know more about black holes then dark matter or energy....

we know vritually nothing about it except it exists...

so i agree, i think the answer you're looking for is 'no' cuz there really is no other option.

dark energy is thought to be the prevailing force behind the expansion of the universe (and there are even th eories about what will happen when the universe reaches distances enough that dark energy can no longer push it outwards)

but that's about only way we really know of it effecting us, or anything for that matter (other then light itsself, and i believe gravity)

  2. I think the answer your are getting at is no... they haven't.

The real answer is in the definition of dark matter itself. Dark matter is anything with mass and does not emit visible light. This can be anything from planets to invisible halos of matter controlling the motion of galaxies. So, we knew what dark matter was when we first gave it a definition... However, we don't know the porportions of different sources of dark matter in the universe.

  3. Objects in space that don't emit visible light.

  4. No, they have not.

  5. dark matter is mass not level to anything in the universe..... it could suck up earth and blanket the atmosphere wit black matter in  matter of seconds
