  1. It is very sad, that so many lives were lost for a human mistake. Upping the number of dead on a daily basis ( 110 working at the time of first explosion )  and the number is not definite as explosions are still going on, more than 300 injured, damaged houses and people moved from the area.

    American ( = NATO ) base in Albania ?

Now they cannot hide it anymore.

Bori, are you sure you are in Tirana area? It was like a strong earthquake and the explosions are still on, and you did not hear anything? You cannot hide it: there are news and pictures and videos everywhere.

I am sorry for innocent Albanian people, it is a real tragedy.

Who plays with fire gets burned.

  2. What has happened in Albania is horrible, I cannot imagine the grief this is going to bring to so many.

Why it has happened?  Because other countries, including mine, have decided that ridding of ammunition is too risky for their own citizens to do so have once again passed their "dirty work" off to someone else far away to deal with.

  3. Some Albanians went to the sky because they didn't know how to use munitions.God punishment is all I have to say on that matter.

  4. Here's the story

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/...

  5. Don't worry, neither Serbia nor Sarkozy's France wanted to attack anyone...

FYI dealing with your question with NATO and the Greek veto, you said Macedonians considered the Serbs as arrogant people because for example when they come to Macedonia they make no effort in speaking some Macedonian words and on the contrary they sing loudly Serbian provocative songs....

You may be right about the Serbian's behaviour but do you want me to describe how the "average" Macedonian behaves him/herself when s/he is abroad? That may be a long story too....

I hope the Macedonians will have more opportunities to travel abroad in order to change their behaviour....

As for the Serbs, when you see what they have been facing for centuries and what they have undergone...I may understand why the Serbs are "arrogant"as you put it...

Serb(ian)s may be so ill-educated and backward but at least in the worst moments they NEVER had any help from other countries...contrary to some other former SFRJ Republics that were ready "to sell their soul"....

I only hope Serbia will never enter EU and NATO to do as Brussels or Washington says...That's what I call the genuine and real independance; not the independance in the Croatian or Slovenian or even Macedonian way...

Now, I will be more explicit: I love Macedonia and I love Greece too. Though I have Serbian roots I speak Greek and Macedonian too.

What bothers me is the Greek attitude towards Macedonian's name; but on the other hand I am pissed off with the constant reproach from Macedonia about Serbs' attitude...

Both Macedonians and Greeks are so stubborn and so unconsequent  that they completely forget there are more serious problems in the region...

Just one more detail mcphenix about your image about France: 6 years ago a mummy from Skopje came in panic to France because her 4 years-old daughter suffered leucemia because she couldn't be rescued in Macedonia...

Now this girl is safe and she leads a nearly normal life...

When I think of the miracle the French doctors did, I don't care about Sarkozy or about Chirac. And let me also tell you since the operation was expensive, the parents called for the Serbian and Macedonian solidarity in France, none of our diaspora gave a euro for this family....NONE; Shame on this disgusting Serbian-Macedonian diaspora abroad (because like most immigrants, when they come back to their homeland they play the rich ones; you've certainly heard of "podro è koga si prviot vo seloto nego najposledniot v carsijata"...are you with me?). SHAAAAME from the Serbo-Macedonian diapora.  Thanks to some of our contacts, the French authorities made the debt much lighter....

Her parents married us with our Vladika...

Now, I tell you about a thirteen-years old boy, a Macedonian who died because it took a year to their parents to decide to go to France. They finally took their son to France. But it was too late. Those same doctors that made a miracle on this 4-years-old girl could not save this 13-years old boy because it was too late... Who is to be blamed? The French doctors that did their best or those Macedonian ill-educated peasants that were stupid enough to let their boy slowly die?

WHO IS TO BE BLAMED? WHOOOOOOO Mc Phenix? WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO? I am furious. So what? What could be your feeling when you see the corpse of an innocent boy because it took a year to theiir parents to realize he needed help...a help this poor boy could not find in Macedonia...

Do you want an other example of the Macedonian "nesposobnost"?

So, to your question what Macedonians did to France, well just read my answer and probably you will have a general idea....

But for sure,  the problem about the Macedonian name is not as important as an other one....Let me give you a clue: Karpalak, August 8th 2001, Goran Simonoski, my wife's late neighbour?....Are you with me???

  6. An ammunition dump exploded killing about ten people

    The pictures

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/in_pictures/7...

But to be honest, seeing as its the BBC, I wont be surprised if the Serbs fired a missile into the dump! Propaganda people!

  7. In order to be part of NATO albania had to disamble its ammunitions because some of them were very old they exploded once they were brought to surface. Thats what you heard, the noise of the explosions. 9 dead and 240 injured. A real tragedy. My heart goes to all the families of the victims Americans ( dont forget there were american citizens there too) and Albanians

  8. WE HAVE HEARD IT IN MAKEDONIA TOO.

OUR COMMON NEIGHBORS ARE SO MUCH ARMED..

  9. Hi I live in Tirana, I didn't hear nothing here and I feel strange that you heard the bomb even in Macedonia, it was a tragical event, this things are rare in Albania, and it was like a mini atomic bomb, there are only 4 victims and 200 injured, here in Tirana there aren't damages fortunately...It was an accident they were working to destroy some bombs of the Communism period but unfortunately they exploded...

Maxi Robespierre, no it has nothing to do with Serbia, it was an accident...

hey people it wasn't so tragic, today the motorway was opened and I just came from Durres...the damages aren't so big, only some windows in the zone were destroyed and people it wasn't an atomic bomb, but a Comunism period arm that exploded, now there isn't a danger any more and people were returning to their homes...
