  1. The Great Forces have had "job well done" by the Bucharest Treaty 1913 - Macedonia has disappeared of the maps.

The existence of Macedonia as a independent country is denying that Treaty. And, the Great Forces don't like denying of their decisions.

What does that mean on the "terrain down there", is totally irrelevant.

  2. First of all greeks dont really dislike you, they prove that by 1.beeing your top foreign investors,

    2. providing extra half a billion euro annually to your for your stability through goverment founds(check my sources)

    3. military equipment

    and training(for you "albanian problem").

You could have easily gotten the name if only you played your cards right. (stop founding research about greeks beeing afrikans and you beeing direct descentants of alexander the great or whatever which lack any credibility or banning greek national teams from entering "macedonian" territorry) or just change your rediculous story about greece constructing a universal conspiracy to harm a 3rd world country instead of just senting 1 f16 to do the job.

Plus according to greek/FYROM accord which your goverment signed states that unless your country uses FYROM greece has UN permission to Veto any membership aplication it wishes :))

By the way you dont want your country joining NATO(which i persume you find too imperialistic for a former communist country) but you did join forces in the US coalition force in afghanistan, which  both greece and france condemed, for US recognition in return.( Diplomacy is a ***** but its a ***** both ways isnt it?)

Sarcozy wants greece to stall burgas/alexandroupoli construction, and loosen up a bit Black Sea Bank credit.

Also he needs Greece/Cyprus/Bulgarias support for EU presidency bid of his choice.

Btw greece isnt the one having a problem here Fyrom does, I would like you to name a neighbouring country which you think "likes" you, i dont think you'll find any other country in the world supporting you as much as greece. (and by support i mean actuall support: MONEY not just talk and bullshiting)

For a more detailed analysys check the last of my sources.

I hope ive been helpfull.(although i think its more of a complaint on your part rather than a actuall question)

  3. @Excuse me Mcphenix, can you be more explicit about the French GOVERNMENT's position towards Macedonia entering NATO?

One thing is sure: I totally disagree with Sarkozy's (foreign) politics...

Sarkozy wants himself and France to play the same role as the UK does with USA: with Blair, you had Bush's British poodle; now you have the French version....

As for Greece, I do like this country and the Greek people. But honestly I am really pissed off and fed up with constant Greek complaints about this and that as if what bothers As if Greece must also bother the other European countries...

FYROM or Skopia is not the biggest danger Greece has to face. Did you see what has recently happened in Kosovo????

Now, neither Macedonia nor even Serbia should enter NATO. Those two countries have absolutely nothing in common with the ones that belong to this organization and let alone with the USA...

@Sorry, you are not explicit. Are you thinking about Kouchner's attitude?

@ Mc Phenix and @ce IX, right, I can (perhaps?) see now the point.

Now let me ask you the following: in 1999, when NATO planes attacked Serbia, some of them flew over the Macedonian territory to attack Serbia. As far as I know, until 1999, Macedonia was Serbia's (best?) friend or neighbour. How comes that Crvenkovski or late Trajkovski allowed US planes flying above the Macedonian territory to attack Serbia?

What I, as a Serb (born in France), should say about what our Macedonian cousins in 1999 allowed NATO to do on Serbia??

So, not only did Macedonia allow this on Serbia, hoping to get US consideration but now NATO (with Greece) is making problems to Macedonia? Don't you think Macedonia has been betrayed?

So, who shall I have to blame? The Macedonian government or the Macedonian people? Do I have now to spit on the Vergina's flag because Macedonia allowed this in 1999?

So, now, if you change your mind about a country just because an idiot came to power a year ago and also because an other idiot is the French Chief of Diplomacy, do you want me to make you remeber what the "VMRO's Kumiti" for the Ustashi did on King Alexander in France in 1933? Does that mean my viewpoint about Macedonia as a consequence should change and become bad for this detail???

So, what's the point? I just mean to explain to you any government does not reflect a people and a country at all.

You may blame France because Sarkozy is doing bad on Macedonia. So I may blame Macedonia for what Macedonia allowed to NATO (in vain) on Serbia in 1999....

So, if you blame France, I do respect your viewpoint.

So, you should blame US (and Bush who lied to you about 2 or 3 years ago when he stated that he would allow Macedonian people use the name "Macedonia" as such...").

    Mislite so glavata....

  4. I agree with mc phenix!

France said that they are on Greece's side about the question regarding the name of our country: Republic of Macedonia.

  5. As long as Greeks can hold the name "Macedonia" for their only purpose, they can claim macedonia to be part of Greece, eg Great Greece. I think it is reminiscent of their wish to found a state of Greece encompassing regions such as Macedonia, Northern Epirus, Eastern Thrace and Western Turkey.

We're all fed up with it, there's just no point to discuss about such things. And Sarkozy is just making big big mistakes in its foreign policies. He should have never let Greeks keep their handover nor entered into this political drama.

@ Despite Sarkozy President's behaviour, France is still a honourable country. You shouldn't focus on him, he's only making a fool of his own person.

    Peace
