What have been your experience(s) with EBAY?

I have both bought and sold there many times and had good luck in both directions. Had only 1 'no-pay' in all the time I was there, and that was quickly resolved by ebay.

I lost maybe 200 or so bucks on puter parts mainly,

dont buy from 0s or even under 50 ... private sales might be stolen goods or pirated, look hard at items .... many poor knock-offs claimed to be high quality.

its allot better lately ... I bought a bunch of stuff with NPs

some sellers are good people, but there are a lot of un-authentic products advertised as authentic.  Be careful & know the return policy.  Pay with paypal to cover yourself.

I've never had any problems with ebay at all, I have sold items and I have purchased items, I always make sure to go through paypal so there is a record of any money transactions.

I steered clear of ebay for years after hearing mainly horror stories about all sorts of goings on. Last week was the first time I ever brought anything off the site. I was unsure but the person had a 100% positive feedback rating (i know they can somehow make it appear as that). In the end it was fine, it arrived sooner than I thought it would, considering the post is usually really bad around here, and the item was coming from overseas. I'm biding on 2 new items in the last few days. Despite having a good experience (I know only 1 item) I'll always be a bit weary of the site. In the end it's all about trust.
