What have non-Michiganders heard about Detroit's mayor's legal troubles? Is it in the national news at all

If you know what's going on - How does that reflect on Detroit, for you? Does it meet your expectations, or lower them?

I'm curious as to what "outsiders" think.

not an outsider....fellow detroiter, but they've made fun of him on all the late night shows. from leno on down.

I have not been given attention to his legal troubles to make a lasting opinion for the leader chosen by Detroit but if your leader has legal problems they would reflect upon the whole populous as his shadow falls. The Detroit people have always been known for their manufacturing status that will not change. but can Detroit change to meet a challenge for the new car designs of our future economy? Change takes time to cast out the old ways of thinking. Your mayor will draw your reputation into his legal battles and that's not a bad thing but a distracting thing. Keep focused Detroit.Hope to see you in the Spring.
