What have the Tourists done wrong?

Every time I turn on an american TV news programme there is a small fat guy saying that he will continue with the war against tourism and wipe out tourists whereever they are, Why.

Never more true than when i went to mexico and was chased round by people selling really badly carved bits of wood.
