What up Lakers Fan,

The only thing the Lakers did of any signifigance was re-sign Sasha Vujacic.  There is talk about them brinigng Sun Yue over- so i'm anxious to watch how he plays in the Olympics.  Losing Turiaf and not getting Posey really hurt us.  But Lakers fans shouldn't panic.

i think the Lakers want to see how the frontcourt of:  Bynum, Gasol, and Odom play together.  Remember that we didn't make the Gasol trade until near the deadline last year- and while everyone is anxious and thinking of trading Lamar away- we don't want to make a deal just to make a deal.  The Artest deal was of great interest but no way we were going to take on Kenny Thomas' contract- and seeing what the Maloofs took for Ron Ron from the Rockets- there was no guarantee they were going to do business with us.  

As the trade deadline approaches- Marion may become available.  Lamar's expiring $14+million contract will be attractive to someone - and you can bet there will at least be some talk come trade deadline time.

The celtics haven't really done anything either besides lose james posey, and only the rockets have really made a major addition by trading for ron artest.

I think the Lakers are relying on Bynum too much if he doesn't perform the way the Lakers want then the Lakers have no back up for him and they have the same Laker team they had last season.which as we saw is not going to win a championship

You might think they have not done anything when they actually really have by locking up and signing there young free-agent guard Sasha Vujacic to a 3-year/$15million contract. When you think about they were interested in trading for Forward Ron Artest. But as we all know that did not work out, he is close to being a Houston Rocket now.

    

     So the Lakers actually have been in the mix, but when you think about no one knows what is going with Lakers font-office, no one knows about how the Gm is handling this off-season. No one really knows until the media finds out and tells you. There are always surprises to come.They might pull of a trade before the deadline or maybe not. You never what the Lakers are up too.

      Also you really do not need to change your team when you have reached and won the west and have made it to the Nba Finals. You are expected to be just as good as last year when you have reached that kind of level. You also have Kobe Bryant on your team, if you forget; the league MVP.
