What have you all been doing all summer?

Not much fun at all, except for enjoying the very nice weather. I've been busy at my grandparents home working on removing their things. My grandpa passed last year and grandma went into a nursing home. I swear my grandma saved everything she everreceivedd. I found a lock of my hair and my birth announcement. I found specimen bottle of what I think was my grandpa's gallstoness. And many, many, many cards.

I've also had to work on my own home trying to get rid of clutter. I'm a packrat too.

Going To The Beach And Sticking My Feet In The Water. It's Just One Of Those Things You Can't Do In The Winter, And I Love Doing It In The Summer!

Have A Nice, Cold Drink On Hot Days, You Get That Perfect Feeling Of Cooling Down! I Love That!

·Would you like to  Make a rainbow princess

You'll need:

·  a sunny day

·  a large deep saucepan

·  a medium-sized mirror (about 20cm x 20cm)

·  white paper

Fill the saucepan with water then go outside and prop the mirror up at the edge of the saucepan with a log or some bricks. Make sure the sun is shining directly into it.

Now, position the paper so the reflection of the sunlight from the mirror shines onto it. Move the mirror around until you can see the water reflected in it from the saucepan and, at the edge of this reflection, you will see colours form. You have just created your own rainbow. Do this experiment inside by shining a torch into the mirror.

What I do the rest of the year.  Housework and cooking.  Have only been swimming 3 times so far!

Been fishing with my son and his friends, they are having fun, I am doing the baiting, getting the rods ready, hunting for the best spots, the photographing, they are having the fun. I just wondering if I were that clueless to nature, as these kids. However there is still hope, they are plannig to go on wednesday again.
