  1. an inner tube for our pool my younger son (10 yrs old)  jumped on the one my older son was on today cause he wanted his turn and ended up breaking his front tooth, spent the rest of the afternoon at the dentist's office repairing it what a nightmare.

  5. A cellphone, worst investment I ever made! (bought for a teenager)

  6. play money annoys me to, my daughter is in to 'paying' for her meals etc, so she keeps giving me money, i try to get it back in the til, but its everywhere, especially in the kitchen

  7. I have regretted that play money every single time I got it.

I also regret *Pop Rocks* as they get stuck in the carpet and I have to "resolve" it for an hour.

I regret the AQUA DOTS the most. At first, I regretted them for the mess. But mainly, after having them and finding out they had killed pets and made children sick- I regretted it badly. They were returned instantly!

Oh none of this was recently, though, sorry. All, over 9 months or so ago...

  8. My husband bought that dam* play money with the tray for our 3 year-old a few months ago....it's on its way to the dump now. I still keep finding paper and coins in the bottom of his toy box. I was slightly irritated with my husband for that one. I bought my son a game that has marbles and you put sticks in a container then put the marbles in the top and try to keep them from falling through as you pull the sticks out...I keep finding marbles under the couch, chairs, and in his toy box. That game might be on its way out too.

My boys would just as soon play with sticks, rocks, and bugs as they would a fancy toy.

I regret most every toy we own and for my son's upcoming 6th birthday I think I'll give him a stick with a ribbon on it and he would probably love it.
