What have you done with a sociology degree?

I am an Econ major myself, but I wonder what type of jobs are available for my friends in this department.

Well, I became a stay at home mom! :o)

Seriously, though, I find that when I am looking at job openings I am qualified for a lot of things not necessarily relating specifically to sociology. Pretty much anything remotely related to human relations or human/social services is fair game unless you need some specific certification. Research is really one of the only jobs other than teaching that would be directly related to sociology. Otherwise, having the analytical skills and understanding of group behavior that you get in sociology qualifies you for a lot of different jobs.
