  1. The friend one and the hang over, also dont take every one at face value as they often have two of them,trust your own instincts,


  2. To say thank you to my parents more often

    Today i know that they really was trying to give me everything although they struggled financially and i just wanted stuff as if money grew on trees.

    Today i know that the best thing ever they gave me and still is giving me is not the material stuff but love and support which without i would be were i am today.

  3. I wish I would have looked after my teeth better when younger.

    Also to treat money differently, when I was 16-24, I wasted about £30,000 on booze and cigs when that could have been a deposit for a house.

    What I have learnt - Never underestimate the power of a woman.

    - To resist group pressure and the temptation to join in when all are running one person down

    - To truly keep what others have confided in me, to myself.

    - To quell my burning instinct for revenge when others have harmed or upset me.

    - Not to loan money to friends, they start hating you for it when they can’t pay it back. (Even if you tell them to forget it)

    - To be blatantly honest to people without worrying about maintaining a good impression with them.

    - To not automatically believe everything I hear, and make judgements, without confirming anything for myself.

    - Not to play stupid mind games with the one I love.

    - That one MUST watch what one eats and drinks.

    - That beauty on the outside does not mean beauty within  

    The older I get the more I understand my parents.

  22. -I learned that the same group of friends in high school will most likely not be the same group of friends when you are an adult.  You may not ever see one of them again.  So, there is life after high school.

    -I learned that it really doesn't matter what over people think of you as long as you can go to sleep at night knowing you are trying your best at being the best person you can be.

    -I learned that your parents will not be around forever no matter how much you love them and appreciate them.  I learned that if you treat them the best you can you will find it easier to accept them not being around.

    -I learned that smoking really does kill people.

    -I learned that sometimes you have to just let go and let GOD.
