What have you named/are you going to name your children?

Question

The goal behind this question is to try to see how your family's naming style differs from/influences your own with your kids.

I definitely like to use family names, esp. w/ boys (though John Tyler and David are the only concrete ones I have right now).

My Parents and all of my siblings were somehow named after a relative.

>Donna Sue: from Don (grandpa's first name) and Sue (grandma's middle name)

>John Victor: John and Victor are two of our uncles

>I was named after my great-grandma Sadie, and Elizabeth came from "Marion Elizabeth"

>William Daniel: William from a great-grand pa; Daniel half-way from my dad Dad, half-way just liked it

>Margaret Ann: after an aunt

It wasn't until I filled out my own question that I realised JUST HOW MUCH we passed down names! I guess that where I get my taste for old-fashioned names...

My name is Miriam Rebecca, after my grandmothers, and I go by Mimi ( slight varietion on a family name)

My sister is Kylie Amanda, my parents just liked the name.

My future son if I have one will be Jace Taylor. Both names are from books.

I don't know what I would name a girl. .
