What he wanted to say with... help?

Last night we were dinner with some friends.. I heard a sentence from my friend talking about his new girlfriend...

He said: ' I'm 1000 percent sure she is honest and pure' some friends of us laughed and said he's in love... and then he said 'no.. i'm serious she is'

Then we spoke about something else..

And now I'm wondering.. what does mean about pure'? He was saying she is still pure.. sexually or what? No understand..

This may have cultural relevance.  In which case it may mean he believes her to be a virgin.  

Otherwise I would  say he probably sees her as a girl of emotional integrity who will not mess a man about with emotional games

My wife for example, we met discussed the 'games' people play, discovered we were both looking for a partner for life and decided to see if we might meet each others criteria.  Over a two week period resulting in high phone bills we decided to marry [unless we discovered something nasty later]  6 Months later we married, nearly 20 years later we remain best friends and in love.
