i have been to the doctor about 2 or 3 months ago (wellbutrin) and noticed a big difference, i had tons of motivation and stopped the negativeness. but i stopped taking them for about a week because i was drinking and they do not mix well, and they are now not working for me, its been about a month or so and i have started eating mushrooms in small quantities to give me that enjoyable happy feeling. i am thinking about talking to my doctor but i dont know if he will be able to help me out?

  1. Definitely get back into the doctor. Leave out the shrooms part, won't look good if her/she puts that into the record for your insurance company to see.

    Hope that helps,

  2. Well you know exactly what your doctor is going to tell you... Look after yourself, knock the drunken druggy thing on the head for a while, get stable on the meds & get well!

  3. Because you drink, you may have what they call duel diagnosis.

This means you might be depressed and have an alcohol problem.

There are specialists trained to work with people that have this diagnosis.  You might want to ask you doctor about this.  Good Luck.
