What helps when your wrist hurts after writing for a while?

  1. shaking it always helps me if not take a break and get an ice pack (frozen veggies) work good hope this helps and good luck!


  2. Do some gentle stretches and exercises (like rotating your wrists).  You certainly don't want to get a repetitive motion injury.

  3. Stopfor afew minutes and take a break.

  4. Sounds like you should get a wrist guard for your wrist when you write. Also sounds like you have some muscle inflammation so advil is good for that. Just relax it and try exercising your wrists some. Sounds also like carpel tunnel. May want to consult your doctor or at least do a search on carpel tunnel syndrome.

  5. Shake it!  Something cold on it will help too.
