I have a five month old daughter who's two bottom teeth are coming in at the same time. Everything I try to help soothe her ( orajel teething tablets, cold rags, teething rings, etc.) none of it ever works!! I was just wondering if ANYONE could help me!?!

  1. ice, it will make the teeth numb.

  2. I used hyland teething tabs, you find them in the natural pharmacy section, and frozen wash cloths. Then my sister came back from India and she told me there they get lavender leaves, soak them in water then take a rag and let the baby suck the lavender water to help the inflamation.

  3. we use baby ambesol gel and baby tylenol when its really bad. frozen teethers and rings have worked for us. frozen fruit in his baby safe feeder is great too! and sometimes... my (clean) finger!

  4. I always used what my family calls "sugar t***s". Just get a wash cloth, put a mixture of sugar and butter(or cream cheese) into it.Tie it up with a string, freeze it and baby will chew on it all day.Or until it melts.lol.It's a great teether....

  5. there are those rubber toys that babies use to scratch their teeth with!

they help ease the uncomfortablness that it makes!

and they rlly enjoy it and spend alot of time chewing on it!

i rlly think it helps them!

    get one plz!

    goodluck!

  6. There is always the orajel or the tablets..everything that people have mentioned above me.  Or you can just try simple things like the wet wash cloth..or a receiving blanket...maybe even try like a  carrot. Keep an eye on her though. Get a big carrot and let her nawl on it a little bit..it should be too thick for her to take a piece off it. My son doesnt like the cold teething rings. So not sure if that will work. But you can try!

  7. My son is 5 months old and going through the same thing.  Have you tried Hylands Teething Tablets?  I've used them for both of my kids and they seem to give them some temporary relief.  They are homeopathic and natural.  You just stick 2 of them under the baby's tongue and they melt in 2-3 seconds.  Our pediatrician (and my dad who is a pharmacist) both recommended them.  You should be able to find them at Target or any drugstore for about $4.  Good luck!

  8. Hyland's Teething Tablets!!! I would scream this from the roof tops! Both my sisters, nieces, nephews and my own 2 children have used them. They are all natural and 100% effective. They are about $6 a bottle and there are 125 pills per bottle. They disolve in the mouth with no water and numb the mouth. Good Luck!

  9. try gripe water

  10. The best thing I found as a mom (having tried what you listed) is Hylands homeopathic teething tablets. They were so effective, it's what eventually led me to become a homeopath. Sweet dreams.

  11. Get a washcloth wet and put it in the freezer for a few minutes.  Let her chew on it.

Also, get some teething tablets at the store.  Those work the best in my opinion.

Other than that, just try to comfort her...  It will pass!!

  12. what we have used in the past was a mason jar ring babies really enjoy that.(put it in the freezer)
