What helps your body to absorb water?

I've heard lemon juice... in other words... is it vitamin C that helps ?? I drink a lot of water, but still feel dehydrated. I do not drink tea nor coffee, I exercise regularly, I eat salads. I want to find the inner cause, which means I don't want to hurry with applying creams etc as they don't solve the inner imbalance.

  1. go to a doctor

  2. So you drink just half a litre per day? That's very little. Normally, a human adult should drink 1-3 litres per day.

  3. How much is a lot of water? How many say, bottles of 500 ml water per day?

How much salt do you consume?

Do you know if you get a lot of salt through processed foods you eat?

Do you eat a lot of bread, cereal, grains etc.

edit: Are you actually feeling thirsty? What makes you think you are dehydrated? Does your head hurt?

Have you been checked for Diabetes and Thryroid problems recently?

The reason I asked all the food + salt questions is, they are very important since they all effectively..absorb water/change the water balance in your body.
