  1. I take a product called Circulation Relief found at Freds. I work on my feet on concrete and this helps to keep the swelling down in my legs and ankles.

  2. Cinnamon, ginseng,garlic.

  3. Simple garlic is great for circulation

  4. fox gloves

  5. Butcher's Broom (herb)

    Horse Chestnut seed (herb)

    Pycnogenol

    Grape Seed Extract

    Rutin

    Antioxidants

  6. Herbs:  Ginkgo Biloba, Goldenseal, and Capsicum (cayenne)

Vitamins: Vitamin B complex, and Vitamin C

Other: L-Carnitine, Choline and Inositol, Garlic, Chlorophyll, Co Q10 and Lecithin granules.

  7. DO NOT USE FOXGLOVE--it is very dangerous to use foxglove unless a doctor prescribed it in a pill form often called digoxin.  Digoxin comes from foxglove plant, and regulates heart rhythm.  It can cause SEVERE and dangerous and potentially lethal side effects when too much is in the body.  It is used in a drug form to regulate heart rhythm.

Overdoses of digitalis alkaloids can cause vomiting, diarrhea, bradycardia, atrioventricular heart block, confusion, and visual disturbances (Fugh-Berman 2003). Foxglove has caused serious poisonings, and anti-digoxin Fab fragments are not particularly effective in treating foxglove poisoning. Most cases of toxicity have been caused by wild-food gatherers mistaking the plant for comfrey (Porter 1999, Colls 1999, Bain 1985).

Garlic, olive oil, ginger and oatmeal are good for circulation.

  8. ginkgo would seem to an obvious choice here (high concentration extracts like jarrow's or ginkgold would be best)

    it's a vasodilator.

some specific enzymes like nattokinase or serrapeptase have a reputation for being helpful as well, but I haven't personally tried them so I have no idea well they work. then again, they're not vitamins nor herbs, just a general supplement :P

  9. minx nailed it right on the head. beetroot is really good as well. (juiced with celery is even more beneficial)

being happy is also good for the circulation.

  10. For poor circulation, walking, swimming or other forms of exercise will improve it.

It would probably be a good idea to increase your circulation by eating more foods rich in magnesium ie ~ leafy and green vegies, ground up nuts and seeds, wholegrain breads and cereals and cold water fishes such as tuna, sardines, whiting and salmon. Magnesium is essential for healthy nerves and muscle functioning and of course for heart health♥

Magnesium rich foods will also ease any issues with constipation you may have by increasing the production of hydrochloric acid in your tummy thus aiding in digestion. It is also known as the antistress mineral.

Foods rich in Vitamin E will improve your circulation also ie ~ wheat germ, cold pressed organic vegetable oils, nuts, leafy and green vegies, spinach, whole wheat, wholegrain cereals and eggs.

Good health to you & yours♥
