  1. A calcium and magnesium drink will alleviate cramps.  Calcium and magnesium are both minerals that are required by muscle cells to work properly.

    I've used it for years and it always handles the cramps.

    You can also use the herb Dong Quai for cramps and related menstrual symptoms. You can find information on the Web; I've used this also successfully.  Dong Quai helps to balance hormones during menstration.
