What herbicide, like Gramoxone, can be bought in Canada?

Many years ago I purchased a herbicide called Gramoxone and have been delighted with its effectiveness. I am a home gardener. However, I now find it can be purchased only by licensed experts. The brand name herbicides cost a fortune in comparison. Can anyone recommend a product or generic herbicide that is effective and relatively cheap?

You'll have to ask locally. Many areas have recently undergone a change in by-laws which prohibit the sale/distribution/use of many herbicides and pesticides.
