  1. I don't think green teas have caffeine in them.  Most herbal teas don't.

Black Cohosh is a great herb for menopausal women.

  2. Green tea DOES have caffeine, and lots of it! It's not an "herbal tea". An herbal tea is something that you drink like tea, but that is made from another plant--so it's not really tea, it's an "infusion of [whatever plant]". Green tea is made from the tea plant but a different part of the plant that the more commonly used in the West brown tea.

For menopause, black cohosh is useful--it has plant estrogen. You can take it in a pill. Eating soy or taking soy supplements is also good.

  3. Green tea does have caffeine, but you can also get decaffeinated varieties.

There are many good herbs to help relieve the discomforts of menopause.  Black cohosh, vitex or chaste berry, and dong quai are a few that help to balance your hormones.  It would depend on what your symptoms are to determine what herbs to use.  To find out more, visit http://www.natural-approaches-to-menopau...
