I don't think there exists something herbal. It's a serious infection that must be treated with really strong antibiotics. It must be treated aggressively when you first notice it coming.

I have a recurrent condition - and end up in the emergency room on an IV for a while, then home with an IV, then oral meds.

Ha ha, that person thought you meant cellulite.  I don't think there is anything herbal to help cellulitis.  You need antibiotics, keep it elevated, and out of the sun.  You need to see your doctor ASAP if you haven't already...could be staph or MRSA
