What high conductivity cables should I get to connect my guitar to my stereo?

I'm looking for cables with good quality and ones that reduce, if not terminate static noise.

  1. The problem is that a electric guitar does not put out enough signal for a stereo input.  You will need to get a small mixer to boost the signal up to "line level".

    After that, you will just need a standard guitar cable and two RCA cables to connect to the stereo.
