Okay so I have two options next year in my schedule regarding science and an elective. I will definetly be taking IB Physics SL, but not sure about the second science. I am thinking about majoring in biomedical, chemical, or earth enviornmental engineering in college.

option 1: IB Biology, IB Design Technology (pre-engineering course)

option 2: IB Chemistry, IB Psychology

note - I can't combine the differednt options b/c it will not work with the scheduling.

Which option should I pick (most appealing to colleges)?

  1. If Bio or Chem is more heavily weighted for GPA, take that one for tiny improvement in GPA.

Otherwise, assuming you already had at least one year of Chemistry, it makes no difference. Take the one you would like best.

  2. For an engineering major, go for Chem.  Biomed might like Biology, but all your majors will want Chem.
