  2. I took French in my Freshmen year and loved it! I'm continuing it because it is such a beautiful language! Don't worry it really is not difficult to read or write! Spanish is easier to speak from what I understand but I would stick with French.

  3. Take French. You will do better in a class that you enjoy. It is not as though you can never learn any more Spanish if you start French. In addition, French tends to be a bit more self-selecting meaning that a greater percentage of the students will be there because they want to be there - not because they are looking for the language that will be the least challenging.

  4. Don't let anyone else tell you what to do. If you really want to take French, then go ahead and take it! I personally love the language, so I would take it. If you can, though, why not take both?
