My t.v.  I don't watch a lot of t.v. but what shows I do watch, I really enjoy.

My computer... I do all of my work on it and I would have no communication to most of the my contacts for work... Also its very entertaining.

My computer.  It has my music on it.  I like my music.  But I could survive without it, I suppose...  Given time. :)

One high-tech item that I would NOT be sorry to see go away?  Cars.  I hate cars.  I don't drive cars.  People should be glad that I don't drive cars, for their own safety.  I took driver's ed reluctantly.  I purposely failed my driving test.  (Although even if I'd actually wanted to pass, I still would have failed.) Cars.  Blech.

Personally I sometimes wish they would all go away.  We lived without computers, cell phones, pagers, etc for so long and our lives were fine, actually better.  I'm sick of being able to be reached by phone in the bathroom.  I hate it that I have to check my d**n computer daily.  Ok, maybe my  TV.  I'm disabled and I would be pretty lonely without a TV, but is that really high tech, they were around in the '50s, so, i'm not really sure if that counts.

My cell phone it's my life line....I don't use a home phone and I don't know anyones # except my mom, work, sister, & boyfriend.

i wouldn't die without it, but my computer is a huge part of my daily professional and personal life.  I interact with others in my profession from all over the world and exchange literature that may not be easily (if even possibly) attainable otherwise.  

Personally I keep in touch with friends and family more than by phone.  Long distance is ridiculous, but skype is free!!! (and love i IM)
