it depends on the RMS wattage going to them, but surface area is what really matters the most and 2x13 is larger than 1x18 so the two 13s would hit harder

Actually, you don't need woofers at all. Try listening to your music at a normal volume, it works wonders for the ears and doesn't p**s of people. If I saw you on the street, my hi-cap would be waiting.

omg,man,dont listen to these freakin people that dont know how to answer a question"hey idiots,if your not going to be helpful,in this question,dont answer it,but yeah man,i would either get 2 13" subs,or 2 18" subs,if you can afford it,if not,the sony xplode 10" subs work great if you get the xplode 10" subs,you need a 1200watt sony xplode amp,if you get the 2 13" subs(depending on the brand,i would reccomend soundstorms,they have high high quality),then you will need a soundstorm amp for them 1,200watt,if you get the 18" subs you will need a 1,500watt amp,
