What hobbies are good for a home buddy like me?

Question

I am a 24 year old female who doesn't enjoy going out to party or be with lots of other people. I enjoy going on vacations to go sightseeing but definitely not shopping. I enjoy staying at home. I work at home too as an artist and a web designer. I used to have art as a hobby but now It has turned into a job for me. So now I'm stumped as to what to get as a hobby.

Please suggest any hobbies that you think would best fit my situation =) I just need something to keep me sane!

Stamp collecting. Iam like you but  enjoy being a membertr of Lions Clubs  helping others . but dont go to many large functions  my club has aboput twelve active members. I am no longer able to drive  . So use a bus pass daily  go for ride and lunch  allmost daily

Well I don't normally suggest this for women but you might give it a try. Become a member of the National f**t Club or better know as NFC. It's free and is quite challenging. They will give you all the materials necessary to start your own club within your city. You will go to f**t conventions which will show you f**t etiquette and how to f**t on command. Would highly recommend it. I have meet so many smelly people.

How about gardening?  If you don't have a yard, you can still grow herbs and veggies in containers.  It really is great to watch things grow, especially when you start them from seed.  And it is really fun to cook with what you harvest from your garden.

I too am a homebody, I love to do prestamped, cross stitch baby quilts. Its very relaxing, no stress, & very pretty when done.

Im the type the harder the pattern, the happier I am, I love a challaenge.

I do fish keeping and currently have 3 tanks:

Cold water

Tropical

Marine

I find I can watch them for hours lol It's a fascinating hobby and there's so much choice! The best tank to start with is probably tropical, goldfish tend to be extremely messy and so it's harder to maintain water conditions, although they're fairly easy to care for provided you keep on top maintenance.

Since you do design you'd probably be very good at aquascaping tanks (which I love doing) and provided enough care is given even the smallest fish tank can look stunning.

I also play the drums and sail (which I love as well).

Try origami or calligraphy, I bet you would be good at those where you are artistic. also try scrapbooking, that is really enjoyable.

Try cross-stitching! Cheap, great fun, and suits even for the ugly rainy days!
