Well there are alot.  If you enjoy to work on cars then tinkering in the garage is a hobby.  But there is mud bogging, antique and restoring cars, drag racing, track racing, car shows, and there are many more but those are the ones that come to mind.  But as long as you enjoy working on the car i would consider it a hobby.
