  1. You can get a good idea here...

  2. usually players who don't play for the team who moved away are good to start the sale like sargei federov he played for the red wings but now washington. This card probably be expensive a great hockey player that has a lot of skill who won a stanley cup with the red wings. see if he have a guy lafleur or a paul henderson. those would cost a since there great players.

  3. Depends on what you have you should buy a beckett and look up the prices on what you have. Hard to find cards our good to sell.

  4. Cards that have an autograph, piece of jersey, serial numbered are usually of higher value. Having more than one of the mentioned will make it more valuable. Rookie cards of star players may also be valuable. Another important thing is the condition of the cards, better condition= more value. Lastly, find out what year the cards are from and you can also ask a local card/ hobby shop for more info.

  5. You could buy a price guide from a magazine rack.  That will give you some idea and a guide is nice but the cards are really only worth what somebody is willing to give you...

What I like to do though is check what my individual cards are selling for on eBay. I'm not saying you should sell the collection on eBay.  Just use it as another guide.

    Hope that helps.
