What holiday destinations are still lively in October?

me and a couple of friends are looking to get away in october we are looking for somewhere hot, lively and somewhere there is still good night life. most places shut down in september i know but there still must be somewhere??? please help.

At least the Canary Islands are still lively at that time of the year. Hope somebody else has other holiday destination recommendations to give you.
