Should i buy a blue ray, bluetooth, 5.1, 7.1. What is the main difference between them and which one produces the best sound quality? Budget is not an issue i'm willing to spend 5000 dollar just on home theater but i want the best quality? Please do give me any suggestion?

  1. 7.1 provides a fuller, more cinema quality sound because you have 2 more surround speakers place to the direct left and right of your seating area.

Here is a drawing of a 7.1 system.

Compare this to a 5.1 system.

For $5k this is what you need.

This is a 7.1 system with blu-ray all hooked with hdmi.  Feel free to shop around for the best prices.

The floor standing Speakers.  This price is per speaker you will need to buy a pair.

The side and rear speakers.  Buy two pairs of these.

    The center channel.

    Then this subwoofer.

You will need two hdmi cables, a subwoofer cable, and to be on the safe side, 100 feet of speaker wire.

These speakers are bipolar meaning they have drivers on both side of the speaker.  The floor standings also have built in subs which gives a you a very full sound.  That sub will shake your neighborhood.  Keep in mind only blu-ray has a 7.1 audio track on it.

  2. Its all about your needs and wants in quality.  $5k for the whole system is

small a great receiver can be 3K plus. Yes you can build a system for 5k but it depends on what you are looking for and where you will put it. Are you building a room for it? Is it going to be dark for a projector or do you want an LCD, DLP, Plasma etc. I have a Denon AVR 5803, Sharp 9000U and Denon DVD and because it is setup right it looks great in a theater room. It is your needs and what you like. Blue ray is nice if you have the supporting equipment for it setup right so you get the best out of it.
