it's a confromation question/game, to get considered for best answer you have to answer 2 outta 3 questions. it's based on 4 horses i pick out at random that are for sale, and you cant add in any other horse. they all have some things in common: same breed, close to same age, same price range. it is for FUN, so if you dont like the question/game, then dont answer. Questions: what horse would you get and why? what horse wouldnt you get and why? can you pick out faults and good points of each horse?

  1. Oh geez, you post so many of these silly questions!! Bout time I answer one i guess..hehe

If i had to choose one for myself, it would be horse number 4. I love her color, nice conformation and seems like a quality mare.

I would NOT get horse number 3 by any means. Long back, no hind end, big gawky head.Just not a pleasant horse to look at, though I don't see any major flaws that would inhibit the horse from doing what hes listed for.

  2. Hi there!

well I take you are looking to purchase one of these horses?

Horse 2 is the best one.

    Add more in a sec.

Okay I will tell you what they are writing between the lines now.

Horse 1: When they say: Experienced or strong intermediate rider."  THey are really saying that she is hot headed and hard to handle.  Not for a someone who wants an easy going good horse.  Basically she is naughty.

Horse 2: "I'm too tall."  That is not the reason she is selling this horse.  Look at the pictures does she really look "too tall?" No.  Good sign when the person is riding them in the photos. Ask for a video.

Horse 3: They are not on it, so probably the horse is really naughty.  When they say:  Lifestyle forces sale to good home with gentle touch.  She is head shy or another form of shy and hates being ruffed up.  Possibly previously abused.

Horse 4: Why did they breed her?  Why her out of the herd of horses they have. why are they selling her?  Again they are not on her...

Okay there you have it my interpretation of the ads lol...

    Spirited = hyper

Fun to ride = A hand full

    Oh okay lol!~~~~

    Conformation:

Horse 1: Very cute.  Look at the size of those legs! Lol.. She is BIG BONED! Nice looking gelding, hes a cute little paint.

Horse 2: Cute he kind of looks like he has a lump in his neck on the second picture! Do you see it?  lol...

Horse 3: Yuck! I do not like him at all! Worst of the 3 by far! No butt and an UGLY head!

Horse 4: She's cute! I like her too! Nice looking from the angle but they do not give you a good conformation shot so it is hard to say.  She is cure though.

    Hope I Helped! :-)

    That was fun!

    ~To the thumbs down giver:

    Thumbs down?

Why you use some of these things to sell a horse?  Fine be that way... Whoever you are...

  3. Definately Yogi!! He's a paint horse!! He is so cute! If you cant get Yogi get Nicki she is also cute! I love her color!

    Hope I helped!

  4. horse one if you want it to ride horse 4 ifyou only want walking but those are just prettiest and look best

  5. Hi...

number 1, Like this guy a lot, nice bodied, big boned, nice running walk....plus color to boot. Nice Pinto...not a Paint, Paint is only AQHA ot TB breeding BTW. My faults are gonna be thick throatlatch, really plain head.

number 2 This mare is Nice bodied with a very nice shoulder and pastern angles, I dislike the way this mares neck ties into her whithers....yuk i do not like her hind legs at all!! way to straight in the hocks, shes a little toed out and base-wide, actually her deviation comes from her knees being off-set. Im  not liking her at all.

number 3 well, what do i say.......long pause...not much to like here

number 4 Shes actually a nice little mare but I cant give a decent critique off of one pic and a bad one at that, she has a decent shoulder and is very nice bodied, her neck set is high but in TWH that might be a desirable trait, she at least has a decent set of hind legs, basing strictly off of conformation its gonna be number 1 then number 4

Please next time lets do some AQHA Western Pleasure horses or APHA Halter horses!!!!

  6. Horse number one seems good. It looks like it has energy. Only a temperment of 4 (if you've been riding for a while than that is no problem), it is pretty, only 11 years old, reasonably priced, and seems like a versatile horse. It says that it can be used for trails, but in pics is being used for jumping. Sounds like a horse to check into.

Horse number two is only 14.1 hands which is pretty small. Taller horses can have lots of speed and seems to be better for long rides. Normally (my personal preference no offense to anyone) I prefer horses that are 14.3 or more.

Sounds weird, but there is little info on the horse's riding abilities and not a single pic of it being ridden. She is pretty, but try to get a variety of pics.

Horse number 4 sounds nice, I would call or e-mail and ask for the video of it being  lunged. There is no harm in looking.

NOTE: Choose a horse close to you...that way you can visit lots of them. Many people have had bad experiences purchasing a horse that they had to travel to get, and barely knew! Search locally. These horses all look nice though. Hope this helps!
