it's a confromation question/game, to get considered for best answer you have to answer 2 outta 3 questions. it's based on 4 horses i pick out at random that are for sale, and you cant add in any other horse. they all have some things in common: same breed, close to same age, same price range. it is for FUN, so if you dont like the question/game, then dont answer. Questions: what horse would you get and why? what horse wouldnt you get and why? can you pick out faults and good points of each horse?

clydesdale (for draft conformation)

  1. Picture #1

I sent a email to the people with the first picture...geez...with the market down for horses, the sellers really need to pay attention to details...those "Mare" in #1 has a sheath...duh.

    Picture #2

Looks pretty good until you see the rider sawing on his mouth to get him to turn...not a good way to sell at "Trained" horse. Over all he looks decent...I'm no expert though.

    Picture #3

I like him the best. He looks like a very nice looking horse to me.

    Picture #4

Her back end looks weak to me...and they say she's husband/kid safe yet they don't show anyone riding her...I wouldn't look twice at her. She looks skinny for a Clysdale to me too.

Edit...the people who are advertising horse #1 say it's a mare...say that she hasn't completely dried up and that is why it looks like that. I personally have never seen anything like that before...but whatever...I just thought that I would come back and update since they decided to answer. I didn't think I was that rude in my email to them, but they were certainly rude back. I know my sister's belgian mare doesn't look like she has a sheath, whether she's not dried up or not...but whatever.

  2. 1- Is my choice. She looks like she has the best conformation. Plus, I perfer mares than any other gender, and she is in foal so you are getting two horses for one price. The price is a little cheap though for a mare in foal, so I am a bit worried over that. She has nice markings and does alot of disciplines.

2-Has too long of legs for how skinny he is, he looks very off, and for a clydesdale he doesn't have much muscle in his shoulders. (When was this ad posted? Because if he's a foal it would be a different story. It says he was born in 2002 and this is 2008...)

3-Has way to large of a neck for my liking. I like horses with long muscular but skinny necks. His withers almost disappear in his neck. Looks like his front hocks are huge, but that could be the fringe or the photo. Looks like a nice driving horse though.

4-Seems to have a sassy personality which I'm not liking much. Her price very much scares me as she must not be too good to be 1,800 for her and her foal. She has a very long head.

  3. i would go for horse # 3 because it is the only only one that is showing what he can do the others don't they just show them standing. and horse 1 is a stud or a gelding ( look closely )

  4. to be honest to me they all nearly look an odd shape... i would get three cos he looks well manored and well proportioned (spelling!!) others just look odd lol

-- i think its a GREAT  idea and i dont mind plus ya dont have 2 answer if ya dont want to :-) -- keep them coming!! :-D

  5. I think it's a great idea....but it takes so much time to go back and forth to each picture that sometimes it's hard to find time.  I have to constantly get on and off of the site, so one long stint is hard to manage.  And like you say, don't answer if you don't want to!  I have guests coming and shouldn't even be on here now, so I'll try later.

  6. Horse #1- major fault--listed as mare but I see a weenie sheath!!

Horse -#2-looks very weak in the back end

Horse #3-boy is he a giant..look at that neck on him.

    Horse #4- goose rump

I think I see some weird lookin feet but it is probably just the feathers...are they judgeable?

Unfortunately, none of them really appealed to me..but, if I had to choose one I guess it would be#1..the bi-sexual one..when she came into heat and got bitchy I could turn her into a gelding.  Plus if he/she is in foal, I could be a very rich person!!
