What hot sync for on a Sprint palm centro??

on a palm centro to all sprint user or sprint iformation knowers....whats hot sync for?

Palm OS has invented a sync with a computer( just like microsoft's activesycc) called HotSync. It is a basic backup of your palm's "stuff" incase your palm dies. Since I use a laptop and don't fell like connecting a cord all the time, I use bluetooth and backup up all of my calendars to google using goosync (goosync.com).

Hot Sync is the process of synchronizing information between your Palm handheld and your desktop computer. It is a really good tool if you have a personal computer or a personal account on a shared computer and want to have your contacts, videos, pics, etc saved for backup in case you loose or damage your phone.
