What hotels are best for Niagara Falls?

Question

We want a hotel that is very close to the Falls and the Casino, prefereably one with a Jacuzzi in the room, and a nice vie overlooking the Falls.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to which one is best? Thanks

I recommend the Marriott Fallsview.  Us locals sometimes get deals at the hotels here, and I've stayed in their fallsview jacuzzi rooms a few times, and it has always been great.  You can see the falls FROM your jacuzzi, how sweet is that?!

The rooms are a little pricey, but it is well worth it.  The beds are *awesome* (as are all Marriott beds) and the service is great.  They have one of the best views, and closest proximity to the Horseshoe Falls.

Other hotels that are close to the falls and the casino are the Embassy Suites and the Sheraton Fallsview (not to be confused with the Sheraton ON THE Falls).  I've stayed at both of these, as well, and they were great.  Just not familiar with their jacuzzi rooms.  And the Marriott is still my favourite!

Good luck, I hope you have a great trip!  If your dates are flexible, try booking in September or October, or during the week in August.  This is the time of year that rates are highest, and a good room at the Marriott on a weekend will run you upwards of $600.
