  2. There are a lot of hotels in St Austell, just search the internet...

  3. Look it up on the Cornwall Tourism web site. It's starting to get to the expensive time of year now though.

  4. There's the new Travelodge in the old market place, and a very nice posh hotel called the White Hart in Church St (I've just looked, and a double room in July is £85 per night). Google those.

St Austell is a nice town for shopping, but the town centre is currently undergoing transformation, so it's a bit of a building site at the moment. It's not a tourist trap, although surrounded by attractions.

  5. They've just built one of those travel lodges next door to the McDonalds, which are usually cheap and cheerful, and there are some decent B&B's if you're interested. I will try and put a few links on for you.

Does it have to be St Austell? I know of lots that relatives have stayed in, and reccommended, but not in St Austell, as it isn't the nicest town in Cornwall, it's a good central base for exploring, but it aint gorgeous!!!

  6. During my last trip I came across a website called http://www.cheaphotel-s.com . It has quite a large variety of hotels. You might wanna give it a try.
