  1. depends on the hamster.

syrians are ok with things that are sugary, dwarves are not..they can and will become diabetic.

no peanut butter it will get stuck in their pouches.

Vegetables and herbs that are safe to feed a hamster are:

    Alfalfa

    Apple (seedless)

    Asparagus

    Avocado (skinned and seedless)

    Banana

    Basil

    Blackberries

    Blueberries

    Broccoli

Brussel Sprouts - small amounts occasionally - not all hamsters like the strong taste

    Calabrese

Cabbage - should only be fed in small amounts occasionally as too much can cause health problems

    Carrots

    Cauliflower leaves and stalks

    Celery

Cherries - stones should be removed as they can be dangerous if gnawed

    Chestnuts

    Chicory

    Chinese Leaves

    Coriander

    Corn-on-the-Cob

    Corn Salad

    Courgette

    Cranberries

    Cress

    Cucumber

    Curly Kale

    Dates

    Endive

    Fenugreek

    Feijoa

    Figs

    Grapes

    Green beans

Kale - should only be fed in small amounts occasionally as too much can cause health problems

    Kidney Beans (cooked)

    Kiwi Fruit

    Kumquat

Lettuce - small amounts occasionally - in excess it can cause liver problems

    Logan Berries

    Lychee

    Mange Tout

    Mango

    Marrow

    Melon

    Mint

    Mung

    Okra

    Pak Choy

    Papaya

    Parsley - a good tonic

    Peach

    Pear

    Peas

  3. hamsters can have lettuce grapes but only one a day and no they can't have any of what you said!

  4. room tempature carrots and apples but only a little piece

  5. My kids had a hamster they would  feed it carrots, lettuce and apples.  Raw, washed well and peeled. This was a treat for the hamster.  The above should not be a substitute for hamster food. Please continue to purchase the necessary food for your pet.

  6. I would feed it carrots, broccoli, apples, and berries.  Never give them onions i already know that guinea pigs die from that!
