What hypes you up more? a block or a steal?

in a game if i get a block i get really energized and hyped up. what hypes you up? a block or a steal?

a steal, cause most of the time for me it is an  easy 2 point lay up. Stealing is how we when most games.

The crowd loves steals, although blocks are good to, but rarely happen when i play, so, i would say a steal really hypes me up.

It depends on what the block or steal does for the game. Personally, I love it when a player blocks the h**l out of another, particularly when Josh Smith is the one doing the blocking. It just gets the crowd in Atlanta pumped up - just remember the Boston series when J-Smoove blocked Garnett.

At the same time, a steal is also great, particularly when you get the steal off a great ball handler. Also, a steal is great if through that steal you can create another play, such as an uncontested dunk or an alley-oop or maybe a long distance shot.

Historically, blocks and steals have been huge for championships ("Havlicek stole the ball!!", "Hakeem giveth, and Hakeem taketh away.") Those kinds of plays pump the crowd.

But personally, nothing excites me more than going up against an opposing player and blocking his shot away. Just as Bill Russell said, "Yes, we did that to you. And if you come back, we'll do it again." YEEAAAHHH!!!

A block.. just the sesation of getting a peice of the ball nd smakcking it right back into there face. Plus its like a steal if you get it back. Pumps up everyone too.

Blocks are less common but in my opinion more intimidating. Plus im a point guard. So blocks are rare for me. So blocks get me more pumped

A steal but if the block was really good and it was needed for the team, then i like the block.

well thats a good one cause i big block or even just if you barely get it, that pumps up you and your team, but if you get a clean steal when someone is trying to drive pass you i like that a lil more
