  1. Buy a guide book to get ideas.

  2. Where in Spain are you going?

  3. You can see the rain it falls mostly on the plains

  4. You can see many things and, of course, YOU MUST NOT SEE bullfighting, an atavic tradition which is ignored or disapproved by most of the Spaniards. It usually attracts the attention of tourists and  foreign people, but it does not represent at all a relevant feature in modern Spain.

So, things you can see, feel and discover in Spain:

-The delightful and unique cuisine present in every region and place in Spain, as a result of the development of a millenary gastronomic culture.

-Nice natural places, ranging from the deserts in the south to the green mountains in the northwest or the snow-covered mountain ranges spread all across the Peninsula. As it's like a little continent (together with Portugal), Spain is both a good country to practice winter sports and enjoy the sunny and warm climate on the numerous beaches you can find along its 5000 kilometers of coastline.

-The cultural imprints of dozens of civilizations settled on its lands since the prehistoric ages: monuments, old cities, museums, historic buildings... Yes, you can find that everywhere, but the long and extremely diverse history of Spain makes it special.

-The best nightclubs of the world in the island of Ibiza, as well as great places to visit while enjoying the intense nightlife you can find in the big cities: Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Sevile...

And many, many more things better than that shaming tradition which is the bullfighting.

  5. Spaniards.  And bullfighting.

  6. So much!!! such beauty and warmth!  Art, architecture, culture!  Where are you from?  Where are you going?  (What part)  Any particular region/cities?

Start at Si Spain website.  Or just search Spain, tourism.  Get a guidebook.  We LOVED DK's eyewitness series...great info...lots of it, and terrific photos...the kind that make you want to spend years just so you can see it all up close.

Do a little more research and then have a more specific question, and we can all help you more.

Personally, I love the South.  Andalucía.   Everyone will give you ideas on their expertises.

And, No.  The rain doesn´t fall on the plain.  That was a bit of poetry invented for a play.  It´s absurd.  In fact, the central plains are pretty dry.

  7. oh come on now...alhambra, grenada, madirid, the running of the bulls............endless things, the famous museums over there...

  8. i went there last week.. u will hardly see a "not beautiful" men or women.. they are beautiful at my eyes..
