What i meant by Barnados is that my mum was adopted out by Barnadoes adoption childrens agency many years ago.

Sorry again if there has been confusion, it is a childrens adoption agency here in Great Britain and it helped to find many beloved homes for orphaned children in the war, i just really need some more information on if i can trace my mums background history.

  1. Have you tried to post your question on the UK Yahoo Answers site under the adoption category?  Perhaps there would be someone there that could offer more information also?  

    I'm sorry that I cannot be of more assistance, but many people do not know that UK has it's own Yahoo Answers, so I thought I would mention it.
