What i need to do to become a police officer in missouri?

for the past few years to become a police officer. im know i have to be 21 do the law about handguns im 19 right now im starting to get into shappe and stop smoking what else do i need to do?

certain police dept will hire at 19. But anyway here are some advices:

1) stay clean

2)if you have credit cards, pay them on time

3)get a two year degree in criminal justice or pshycology or  crime scene technology

4) Do a ride alongwith your dept of interest.

5)-opt; join theus army resere or national guard as an MP.

If you follow these gudelines by 21 you should be pulling me over for speeding, and sure let me off with a friendly warning !
