What i need to know.?

Question

so im supposed to be getting home schooled, but my dad is away and he said work on some school stuff until he can figure it all out.

so what should i be doing/working on?

im in 8th grade.

8th grade is preparing for high school, so to you what is the most important things i would need to know?

I agree with Spring.  Follow your interests.  

If you know how to learn, you will have no trouble with high school.  Read about things you want to know about, find out where to get more information.

Libraries and the internet are great resources.  You can find out all sorts of things.  

Read "The Teenage Liberation Handbook" by Grace Llewelyn.  That should give you some great ideas.

What are you interested in? Learn about it. Keep your basic math and writing skills sharp.  Learn at your pace as your interests guide you.

You need to be doing pre-algebra in math.  In language arts you need to make sure your grammar and spelling and punctuation are good, so you will be prepared for high school writing.  In science you need to have broad, basic skills such as are covered in a basic science class, so you will be prepared for the more advanced high school classes of biology/chemistry/physics.
