  1. You either have REALLY really bad ADD or just crazy. The humidity isn't that bad once you get used to it either.

  2. In CA there's several colleges:

Depending upon your grades there's Stanford University.  They have a WONDERFUL stable there for their students (It use to be open for ALL, I know, I got a Stanford Sticker for my '65 bonneville and folks use to ask me if I went there and I'd say "Nope, but my horse does!"  HEHeHe)  It's REALLY pricey though.

Then there's CAL Poly San Luis Obispo, which I think has a rodeo team.

Cal Poly Pomona has horses but not sure if it's limited to their in house Arabian program.

    Hope that helps.

  3. U.C. Davis in Northern California is a great school.

You can bring your horse.  They have riding programs and trainers.  There are rodeos in the surrounding counties, but Davis doesn't offer them.

Davis is a nation of hippy, tree hugging, grow your own produce, environmental friendly, ride your bike everywhere, don't own a car, animals need "guardians" not "owners" type of town.  They would no sooner host a rodeo than they would slap a baby.

They built a mini city for frogs.  Seriously.  Complete with a Starbucks.

It gets hot a few days a year, but it's a dry heat.

Good luck with the college search.

U.C. San Diego stays 75 degrees and balmy pretty much year round.  Can't bring your horse, but you could take up surfing.

  4. also try st marys of the woods if your good enough you can get a scholarship there
