What i the best water type pokemon in pokemon diamond?

what is your opinion of the best water type pokemon in pokemon diamond that is not legendary or emplorion(spl) ?

i would say gastrodon because he has less than 2 weaknesses and you can teach him tm earthquake and many other water and ground moves

milotic is the best other thn empoleon but its probably better than empoleon anyway... gastrodon is good because of earthquake and no electric weakness but its quad weak to grass... wiscash is basically another gastrodon but a little bit better. octillery isnt bad gyarados is great too and quagsire can deal out some good moves as well... best is milotic empoleons steel type makes it the best for in game and its easy to get... getting feebas is hard enough but getting enough poffins to feed feebas is even garder
