What ideas for preschool vbs do you have?

I am teaching the 2 year old class, and i need to come up with snacks and crafts to go along with the adventure park theme for 2008

Just make sure you keep it simple and easy for 2 yr olds to understand.  Here are a few ideas that pop into my head

Cut out fish of of paper, laminate them, put magnets of them and put them in a little plastic swimming pool.  Then make a fishing pool and put a magnet on it.  Have the kids go fishing for prizes.   Then serve goldfish crackers for a snack.

If you have a parachute, have the kids face 1 direction and hold on to it with one hand to make a merry go round.  Start out really slow then have the kids go faster, but not too fast since they are only 2.  PLay merry go round music while you are doing this.  

Have a duck pond using the plastic ducks with the numbers or letters on it, so they can win prizes.  Just make sure depending if they know there letters or numbers, you help them with what they are.  Or you can use pictures instead of the numbers and letters.

Get plastic fish bowls and put the plastic toy fish in it, and have them throw a ball or plastic coin into the fish bowls

Make characters that the children like and have them put there faces through to take their pictures.

If you are allowed to at your preschool, get a slip and slide as a ride.  They have small ones that should be safe for 2 yr olds.

Make your own games and rides.  If there is older children, there have them help your class as a school project.

Make different kinds of carnival/theme park food.  Make sure you check with parents about this, since this food is high in sugar.   You can do things like funnel cakes, elephant ears, cotton candy.  Search the interent for ideas.  

You can also make snow cones.   Kids love these!

You can also do face paintings

Do simple games where the kids can win prizes.

Oriental trading is a great place to get cheap stuff for this.  We did something like this at the daycare i used to work at and the kids loved it.   Just search for Oriental trading on a search engine to find their website!

Let them play, they are two. Plenty of water and sand. Markers, crayons and paint.

2 yrs. old---very  early  for all these stuff--better you introduce  fruits and vegetables--animals models and cut pcs.
